No One Can Believe the Size of House Bunny Which Is As Big as 'A Labrador'

There is nothing quite as satisfying as resting after a long hard day with your pet by your side. They instantly help melt the day's stresses away, slowing your heart rate down, and improving your mood.

It's not uncommon to see a snuggling pet with its owner, but one woman's "soulmate" is wowing viewers because of its unusual size.

In a November 2 TikTok video posted by the account @maddieford99, the owner is not a dog or a cat, but a rabbit. A giant rabbit that she compares to the size of "a Labrador."

The two of them were sitting side by side together on the couch and watching TV, which the rabbit loves to do.

She definitely was not kidding about the size of her rabbit. He takes up a whole section of the couch. And her hand looks minuscule in comparison as she's petting him.

The TikTok video brought in 953,200 views and 104,400 likes, with a majority of users falling in love with the giant rabbit and wanting one of their own.

"I thought you were exaggerating about the Lab comparison, but you're really not," commented one viewer.

Another added: "Girl, the softness, the warmth, the companionship. Yep, that's pretty much heaven."

But someone pointed out that it must be a pain when he has to go to the bathroom. Luckily, the owner trained the rabbit to use the toilet. Perks of snuggling with a giant dog-sized rabbit and not having to worry about clean-up duty, a win-win.

Newsweek reached out via TikTok for additional comment.

Flemish Giant

The Flemish giant breed is the largest rabbit breed in the world, weighing in at 15 to 22 pounds on average. The largest recorded weight for this breed was 50 pounds, according to WebMD. So, no, not exactly the same size as a Labrador, but comparable to plenty of small dog breeds.

These gentle giants can be traced back to the 16th century. Originally from northern Belgium, the Flemish giant was bred for fur and meat. They typically live between 8 and 10 years.

These adorable critters are friendly and can't get enough attention. Just as it was shown in this TikTok video, plenty of Flemish Giants love cuddling. Owners shouldn't be surprised that this breed likes to relax and get much-needed naps.
