NBC correspondent fumbles through live shot on Roy Moore
NBC News correspondent Gabe Gutierrez lived through every reporter's worst nightmare when he blanked several times during a live shot from Alabama.
Guiterrez was delivering a report Monday night during a segment on the sexual assault allegations against Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore.
After a portion of an interview with one of Moore's accusers, Leigh Corfman, was played, the newsman attempted to report on the state of the upcoming Alabama special election.
The uncomfortable live shot was rife with repetition, stumbles and 'ums.'

Viewers took to Twitter expressing their concern for the news veteran immediately after the segment aired.
Guiterrez promptly addressed the incident on Twitter sharing: 'Hey everyone, thanks for concern. I’m fine. Had a moment of exhaustion hit at worst possible time. Onward.'

It has certainly been a busy week for news personnel covering the Moore scandal on the ground in Alabama and from the look of Guiterrez's Twitter account it appears he has been in the state on the story for several days.
The outpouring of support from his astute fan base on Twitter was remarkable.

Many noted how frequently he has been traveling for reporting duty over the past two months.

He has been a correspondent for NBC for the past five years, coming up from local news in Houston, Texas previously.
