Bowen recalled, 'I was like, "I want an Ambien," and she was like, "That's addictive, you need pot." And I was like, "What med school did you go to?"'

Bowen said she eventually obtained a supply of edible marijuana items that came with instructions to consume half of the contents of the bag. She cut that amount in half and ate only a quarter of the bag, but it didn't seem to diminish the effects.
